Homemade Manicotti Recipe

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes
  • Cook Time: 50 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • (175 degrees C).
  • Cook the manicotti according to the package instructions.
  • Rinse with cold water after draining.
  • Combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Combine thoroughly.
  • Fill each manicotti shell halfway with the cheese mixture.
  • In the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread 1 cup marinara sauce.
  • Arrange the filled manicotti shells on top of the sauce in a single layer.
  • Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the manicotti.
  • Wrap aluminum foil around the baking dish.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
